Training Modules and Attestations
Completion of assigned compliance and regulatory training is required. Failure to complete assigned training will impact merit eligibility.
Please note, other training, in addition to those listed below, may be required based on your position or job duties. Ad hoc trainings may be assigned as necessary. Some departments require annual compliance completion of the below, or similar, compliance modules. If you receive notification of assignments, please check Percipio or with your supervisor for further details. Assigned trainings will display on the “My Assignments” list in Percipio.
Campus Emergency Alert Training

The university is committed to providing a safe and secure working and learning environment for faculty, staff and students. One of the safety programs in place is the emergency alert system used to notify the campus community when there is an emergency situation, including criminal threats and/or natural disasters. To better protect and empower our community, this course shares information on how the Emergency Alert System works on campus and how you can assess and respond to emergency situations.

Code of Conduct Training

The Code of Conduct is a resource that outlines our core values and standards. All faculty, staff, leaders and Board members are expected to follow the Code and related policies and procedures. This course covers key topics of the Code that connect to how we treat one another and how we conduct business, striving for respect, trust and transparency in all we do.
Student workers complete a student version of this training, displayed in Percipio as “Know. Understand. Live: Our Code of Conduct for Student Employees.”
Electronic Data Protection

Shared effort and knowledge around IT security is essential to protect university information assets and IT systems from electronic threats and to help protect you from cybercriminals. This module is designed to help you get to know the university's email management policy as well as tips for protecting your personal and professional information from cybercriminals.

Eliminating Discrimination and Harassment

Every employee has the responsibility to support a work and learning environment free from discrimination. This module is designed to build an understanding of what discrimination and harassment are, as well as university policies and best practices that apply.
Student workers complete Eliminating Discrimination and Harassment training through Percipio.
Accessing and Completing Training (through Percipio)
- using your university username and password.
- In the "My Assignments" section of the main page, click on "Launch Compliance Training" or "View Compliance" to begin.
- Your assigned training modules will be visible in the "Required Compliance Assignments" section along with the due date.
- Select a course to begin. Verify completion when finished
If you want to review completed trainings, you may do so by:
- Click the nine-dot grid on the top left of the screen and select Compliance.
- Select “training history”
- You may select any training that is blue to review it again.
Note: Platform maintenance on Percipio takes place on Sunday afternoons and training courses may be inaccessible during maintenance times.

- Help options are also accessible in Percipio by clicking the account name and selecting “Help” from the dropdown menu.

Unpaid/Courtesy Appointments
As an individual with an unpaid/courtesy appointment on a campus that is part of the ©2024 51Ƭ, you may qualify as someone required to complete the university’s compliance training. Please complete training as assigned in Percipio (see the Accessing and Completing Training section for access instructions).
